In 2010, Lara and Greg founded Western Images and Light. Following in the traditions of Ansel Adams and Edward Weston, Western Images and Light focusses on capturing straight photographic representations of the American West. Lara and Greg have spent the last five years living in wild areas from Nevada to California, Oregon, and Washington on a photographic quest to study and capture light. Currently, both photographers are working on their Master's Degrees in Environmental Studies with a focus on Environmental Education and Sustainability. They hope that their photography and stories will inspire others to appreciate and conserve wild lands.
